These sets are hand-bound in a 1/3 velvety imported Australian leather and an off white Italian Capanneta cloth with a touch of beige. In contrast to most other contemporary popular leatherbound printings, these are not machine-made from scraps. The difference is noticeable in the look and texture of the leather and cloth. The spines are enhanced with hand-stamped gold foil titling. The beautiful marbled end papers are based on old 18th Century English papers Each frontispiece is protected with fine tissue paper to protect and compliment the plates. There is a bound in silk ribbon bookmark. The text blocks are recent hardcover editions printed on acid free paper.
Each signed and numbered frontispiece is based on Nicholas Gaetano's original cover
art for the novels. The frontispiece paper is Red River Watercolor, a heavy archival paper
with a warm white appearance and luxurious feel and texture. It is specially designed to
reproduce colors with vivid, brilliant clarity.
